Bıomedıcal Engıneerıng & Green Nanotechnology

Advanced Materials Science and Engineering and High Tech Device Applications (October 15-17 Ankara, Turkiye)

Bio & Environmental Engineering

Within the Bio & Environmental Engineering theme, this track invites interdisciplinary contributions at the interface of engineering, materials science, health technologies, and environmental sustainability. Submissions should emphasize mechanistic understanding, performance validation, and translation-aware considerations such as biocompatibility, standards, and real-world operating environments.

Engineering solutions for health and the environment require rigorous evaluation across safety, reliability, and regulatory constraints. We welcome work on biomaterials, medical devices, diagnostics, biosensing, antimicrobial surfaces, and regenerative platforms, alongside environmental remediation, water treatment, and monitoring technologies. Contributions that address sterilization, cytotoxicity, clinical or field validation pathways, and sustainability impacts are particularly encouraged.

Topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Biomaterials, medical devices, implants, biointerfaces
  • Diagnostics, biosensing, point-of-care technologies
  • Antimicrobial surfaces and bioactive coatings
  • Drug delivery and controlled release platforms
  • Tissue engineering scaffolds and regenerative approaches
  • Biocompatibility, cytotoxicity, sterilization, standards considerations
  • Water treatment and advanced remediation technologies
  • Environmental monitoring and pollutant detection
  • Sustainable packaging and circular-economy solutions
  • Polymers in biomedical and environmental applications
  • Regulatory pathways, risk management, and field validation studies
